The type of research method is documentary and based on the theoretical and empirical foundations review of the religiosity and political culture. The research findings indicate type of reading and understanding of religion and political culture is influential in determining the type of relationship between religiosity and political culture. More precisely, As the type of religiosity of people according to the type of reading (understanding) of religion can be strict, moderate and too tolerant, The political culture of people can also be categorized according to the same criteria as strict, moderate, and too tolerant and the type of reading from religion (and hence religiosity) and the political culture that leads to different types of religiosity and political culture affects the type of correlation of them, so that consistent and corresponding readings of religion and political culture conducive to a positive relationship between them, mutually, inconsistent readings conducive to negative relationship. This article has attempted to offer the relationship between religiosity and political culture variables in the form of a theoretical - explanative model. با عنایت به نتایج متناقض و متفاوت یافته‌های پژوهشی درباره رابطۀ دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی در چند دهه گذشته، مقاله حاضر می‌کوشد تا نشان دهد که چه متغیری، نوع رابطۀ دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی را متأثر می‌سازد. روش مطالعه از نوع اسنادی و مبتنی بر مرور مبانی نظری و تجربی مربوط به دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی است. یافته‌‌های تحقیق حاکی از آن است که نوع قرائت و فهم از دین و فرهنگ سیاسی در تعیین نوع رابطۀ دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی تأثیرگذار است. به عبارت روشن‌تر، همان‌طور که نوع دین‌داری افراد بر اساس نوع قرائت (فهم) از دین می‌‌تواند سخت‌گیرانه، معتدل و تساهل‌‌گرایانه باشد، فرهنگ سیاسی افراد را نیز بر اساس همان ملاک می‌‌توان به فرهنگ سیاسی سخت‌گیرانه، معتدل و تساهل‌‌گرا تقسیم‌‌بندی کرد و نوع قرائت از دین (و به‌تبع آن دین‌داری) و فرهنگ سیاسی که خود انواع دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی را منجر می‌‌شود، بر نوع همبستگی این دو تأثیر دارد، به طوری که قرائت‌‌های همخوان و متناظر از دین و فرهنگ سیاسی منجر به رابطۀ مثبت بین این دو موضوع و متقابلاً قرائت‌‌های ناهمخوان منجر به رابطۀ منفی می‌‌گردد. مقاله حاضر کوشیده است مناسبات میان متغیرهای دین‌داری و فرهنگ سیاسی را در قالب یک مدل نظری- تبیینی ارائه دهد. http://political.ihss.ac.ir/en/Article/Download/11915
