Is “action”, in Arnedt’s thought, merely an answer to the problems of the contemporary man, or what? The hypothesis is that Arnedt has an existentialist approach to “action”, and offers it as a solution of disastrous crises upon the contemporary man. To test the hypothesis, we begin with the study of the concept of “action” in Arnedt’s thought, then we will see what existentialism is, and what its main principles are, and finally we will show the relationship between existentialist thoughts and Arnedt’s approach, contrasting her approach to “action” with the main principles of existentialism already made clear. هانا آرنت به عنوان متفكر سياسي تأثيرگذار قرن بيستم در آثار مهم خود تلاش مي‌كند تا اصلي‌ترين مسائل سياسي و اجتماعي انسان عصر را بررسي كند. او در بررسي پديده‌هايي چون خشونت، ترور، جنگ و تماميت‌خواهي، به «عمل» كه تعريفي خاص نيز از آن دارد، توجهي ويژه داشته و گويا آن را راه عبور از مشكلات مي‌داند. وي در رويكردي اگزيستانسياليستي، «عمل» را راه درمان بحران‌هاي پيش روي انسان معاصر مي‌داند. «عمل» در انديشه آرنت پيوند‌دهنده سياست و اگزيستانسياليسم است. http://political.ihss.ac.ir/en/Article/Download/11789
