The aim of this article is to study the consequences of the influence of technology on democracy. Taking technologistic and cultural approaches, this paper studies the influence of technology on the four components of democracy as a government system- decision making policy, human beings as decision makers, community as consisting of individuals, and procedures of determining destiny- and argues that technology is an integral part of democracy in modern technological era to the extent that it entails making the new term as «technological democracy. This term overshadows the question of whether technology is a threat or opportunity to democracy. The question would be significant, when its purpose is to reconcile democracy and technology. دو دیدگاه کلی در باب اثر گذاری تکنولوژی بر دموکراسی وجود دارد: دیدگاه نخست، تکنولوژی و یا مصادیقی از آن را برای دموکراسی تهدیدآمیز مي‌داند و دیدگاه دوم، آن را زمینه و بستر مناسب‌تری برای دموکراسی تلقی می‌کند. هدف از این نوشتار، بررسی پیامد‌های اثر تکنولوژی بر دموکراسی است. در اين نوشتار، اثرگذاری تکنولوژی‌‌، با نگرشی تکنولوژیستی و فرهنگی‌، بر چهار مؤلفه مقّوم مفهوم دموکراسی به مثابه روش حکومت يعني رویه تصمیم‌گیری، آدمیان به مثابه عناصر تصمیم‌گیرنده، جامعه دربردارنده افراد، و مفهوم تعیّن سرنوشت‌‌ بررسي شده و استدلال می‌شود که در عصر تکنولوژیکی نوین، تکنولوژی به بخش جدایی‌ناپذیری از قوام مفهوم دموکراسی بدل شده است؛ به گونه‌ای که طرح برساخته «دموکراسی تکنولوژیکی» را ایجاب می‌نماید. این مفهوم، پرسش از تهدیدآمیز يا سودمندبودن تکنولوژی برای دموکراسی را تحت الشعاع قرار می‌دهد؛ بر اين مبنا، طرح پرسش فوق هنگامی ارزشمند است که در جهت سازگار نمودن بيش‌تر تکنولوژی با دموکراسی باشد. http://political.ihss.ac.ir/ar/Article/Download/11800
